The Retail Motor Industry Federation has completed its purchase of the Motor Vehicle Repairers Association.

How much the RMIF paid Capita Group Plc for the MVRA has not been revealed.

The MVRA's body and repair programmes will now be incorporated into the RMIF's member offering.

The RMIF said the purchase will also expand the range of services and benefits provided to RMIF members, in particular Independent Garage Association (IGA) members.
