Note on dealer financial data: AMi will update financial information as soon as it becomes available. Companies are obliged to file their accounts by a certain deadline – usually nine months after the year end. Not all keep to their obligation.
Companies House does issue reminders and fines offenders. Eventually Companies House may gazette a company and apply for it to be struck off. But in the meantime it is entirely up to the company.
Data in AMi is up to date, except for those companies that have filed accounts only recently. Entering this data is in progress.

The tools in this section allow you to determine the viability of potential investments and acquisitions through establishing trading patterns of individual companies in context of the overall and their own market performance.
At the heart of AMi is the detailed analysis of the top 200 UK dealer groups by turnover and all the major car and LCV manufacturers to assist in due diligence processes.
These profiles - or health checks - provide essential, in depth information on each company including financial KPIs, management structure and names, shareholding information, franchises held, and network location data on dealers; market share and registration information from the SMMT, senior management, regional brand penetration and senior personnel for the manufacturers. Added to this is insight into the development, standing and aspirations of the groups and manufacturers.
AMi provides access to a single source of information to determine the relative health of dealer groups using historical financial performance data in the context of the market as a whole, defined segments of it or side-by-side with other dealer groups.
There are more than a dozen financial KPIs including turnover, profit, RoS, gearing, profit per staff member tracked over 10 years, allowing exploration of a single dealer group or a number compared against a segment of the market ie AM100, AM10 and AM50.
Regional profiling provides data on the geographical profile of franchised dealer groups and manufacturers, with data on network size and changes over time.
It includes the total number of dealerships and sites in each group; total outlets for each group mapped by region and density of representation and franchise representation changes over time mapped on a graph.
