Here you can begin using what we believe are the five fundamental tools to investigating the market: dealer and manufacturer searches and analysing the sales performance of manufacturers or their network locations.

Note on dealer financial data: AMi will update financial information as soon as it becomes available. Companies are obliged to file their accounts by a certain deadline – usually nine months after the year end. Not all keep to their obligation.
Companies House does issue reminders and fines offenders. Eventually Companies House may gazette a company and apply for it to be struck off. But in the meantime it is entirely up to the company.
Data in AMi is up to date, except for those companies that have filed accounts only recently. Entering this data is in progress.
Access to profiles of all the main car and LCV manufacturers operating in the UK is simple through the search functionality.
Use manufacturer search to find a profile of an individual company or compare several across a number of criteria, such as registrations and market share, plus dealership locations using Google map technology, including Street View.
AMi’s search functionality is the engine room of the site where you can begin to explore the full range of information on dealer groups and manufacturers using a one-click search function or a series of filters, refining your inquiry through more than a dozen financial criteria (turnover, operating profits, gearing etc), AM100 rank, network size and locations.
You can also create a compare list, access dealer group summaries, known as health checks, and begin saving data to your AMi account for future access.
At the heart of AMi is the detailed analysis of all the major car and LCV manufacturers and the top 200 UK dealer groups by turnover.
For dealers these profiles - or health checks - provide essential, in depth information on each company including financial KPIs, management structure and names, shareholding information, franchises held, and network location data on dealers; for manufacturers it's market share and registration information from the SMMT, senior management, regional brand penetration and senior personnel.
Added to this is insight into the development, standing and aspirations of the manufacturers and groups.
This section is the starting point for assessment of individual and collective dealer group financial health. Research invididual groups or segment parts of the market ie AM10, AM50, AM100 to consider average performance and highlight the highest achievers using a wide range of financial KPIs, including turnover, profit per site and gearing.
Mapping technology is used to display dealers’ regional strengths and weaknesses and identifies the ongoing opportunities and threats for regional and brand expansion.
AMi provides a comprehensive list of franchise opportunities through open point positioning for each manufacturer. There is also an open point enquiry service.
