Tony Sackett, sales & operations director for Unipart Automotive’s mechanical repair division, has been appointed as the Automotive Distribution Federation’s vice-president.
Sackett is a member of the SMMT Aftermarket Committee, a trustee director of Ben, fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry and member of the Institute of Directors.
ADF President Quintin Cornforth said: “I know that Tony will add much energy and experience to guiding the ADF over the coming years.
"This announcement shows the Federation’s recognition of the need for continuity in leading the ADF, and the parts aftermarket, forward.”
Tony Sackett will become ADF President in December 2009.
