Following its emergence from bankruptcy, Norwegian EV-manufacturer Think Nordic announced it was ready to resume production of its City microcar.
Assembly of the City will begin in December by Valmet Automotive, a contract manufacturer based in Finland. Valmet already builds Boxter and Cayman under contract by Porsche in Finland.
It expects to have 4,600 ready by the end of 2010.
According to Think, nearly 2300 orders for City have been placed. Most are destined for government fleets across Europe, but the figure includes some retail orders.
