Euro Car Parts entrepreneur Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia has been nominated for a business and commerce award at the forthcoming Lloys TSB Jewel Awards.
Wembley-based Ahluwalia started the business as a teenager identifying 30,000 independent car garages which needed immediate access to car parts allowing repairs to be completed the same day.
Euro Car Parts’ sales in 2009 have increased by £45m in 12 months, according to the company.
The Lloyds TSB Jewel Awards honour the achievements of individuals in the public and private sectors of the Asian community in the south of UK.
