Kia’s next generation Magentis saloon will go on sale in the UK in 2011.
The South Korean brand has already swelled its model line-up this year with the addition of its Venga B-segment MPV and new Sorento.
Next year will see Kia’s older models revitalised with a replacement for the aging Rio and Picanto, as well as this new Magentis which will make its public world premiere at the New York International Auto Show on April 2.
Longer, lower and wider than the previous model, the new Magentis features a significantly longer wheelbase and Kia says it will offer “considerably more space for both people and luggage”.
The new Magentis will go on sale in the USA and in non-European markets first in the autumn this year.
An on-sale date for the UK has yet been confirmed, but Kia is expecting to be able to announce one soon.
