Service plan provider Emac has joined The Warranty Group (a newcomer to the sector) in stressing to dealers the importance of selling the products this year.

Angela Barrow, Emac managing director, said aftersales success would not be achieved without “real leadership focus and a widening of the activities in the showroom”.

Barrow said that in 2009 Emac helped dealers to recover revenue lost through lower sales of new cars because of the recession.
