A motor retailer and his son were killed at the weekend when their light airplane crashed and exploded.

Bruce Hook, 63, who ran Willpower Garage in Lapworth, Warwickshire, died alongside son Ian, 26, in the crash on the island of Menorca.

The pair had just taken off in their twin-engined plane to participate in an air race organised by the Royal Aero Club of the UK.

An investigation is under way into the cause of the crash.
