Peter Smith Sports Cars in Burton-on-Trent has closed with the loss of seven jobs.
Administrators MCR were called in earlier this month by the dealership, which has traded for almost 40 years.
The business, in Station Road, Hatton, traded in specialist performance marques such as TVR, Lotus, Noble and BMW.
Its assets are expected to be put to auction in January.
