Citroen UK

Citroen entered 2013 looking for a period of consistency and stability, with a focus on providing dealers with the service they need to succeed - and initiatives that would lead to greater returns and improved market share on the back of continued success of the DS and 'C-line' car ranges.

In addition to the investment in new models such as the DS range and electric vehicles, Citroen has also taken on new team members, including an executive focused on wholelife costs and residual values to maximise its fleet proposition.

For 2013, it is looking to introduce programmes that will boost service contracts, vehicle health checks as well as pursue it goal of new network CI standards that it is confident will boost staff morale and customer satisfaction.

Note: Manufacturers administer the franchised contracts for cars and LCVs in different ways. Broadly, for some the contract to sell cars and LCVs is managed through a separate dealer contract. For others one contract covers both vehicle types.

AMi seeks to acknowledge the difference and reflect it in the count of each dealer groups total franchised outlets (franchised businesses) and sites (locations).

Citroen administers car and LCV sales under a single contract.

I wonder what the future is for this brand in the UK as PSA registerd a first-half operating loss of 700 million euros?.... I guess PSA did an 'alliance' deal with GM earlier this year as GM knows how to survive a Government bailout. I wish Scott the best of luck in his new role!
