Three executives from Honda, Land Rover and Marshall Motor Group have joined Ben's board of trustees.

They are Daksh Gupta, CEO of Marshall Group, Pauline Wiseman, general manager, European Human Resources at Honda and Les Ratcliffe, head of community relations at Jaguar Land Rover.

The three will play an "active and vital role" in fulfilling the objectives of the charity. This includes collective responsibility for strategic development, ensuring policies and practices are in keeping with aims and values plus meeting the legal and financial requirements of a charitable organisation.

David Main, chief executive of the automotive charity, said: "These new appointments bring strong leadership skills and business acumen. They will support the Executive team in strengthening our connection to the industry. Collectively our trustees make certain Ben’s leadership team have the support they need to ensure the charity operates efficiently and is best placed to help those in our industries who are facing hardship and distress."
