Kia Motors Europe has renewed its technical partnership agreement with Shell Lubricants.

Shell has been the manufacturer’s preferred European motor oil supplier since 2009 and the initial five-year agreement has now been extended until December 2016.

Shell says the deal offers ‘a wide range of benefits’ to Kia vehicle owners and dealers, including training for Kia technicians and service advisers, engine oil change stickers and oil top-up kits.

Vice President of Kia Motors Europe Aftersales, Uwe Hannes, commented: “This renewed technical partnership agreement strengthens the alliance of our two global brands, with the aim of further improving customer and dealer satisfaction.”

Roger Moulding, GKA Vice President at Shell Lubricants, added: “We have been working with Kia for many years now and continue to be impressed by their high quality and innovative approach.

“By bringing our technical expertise to this relationship, Shell is working with Kia to bring maximum value to their dealers through the lubricant training module as well as other trade programmes.”
