Ford Doncaster, part of the 29 site Stoneacre Motor Group, has been awarded the Ford Chairman’s Award for how it treats its customers.

The dealership has been given the award after its first full year of trading since acquiring the Doncaster site.

Dealer principal Paul McCormick told Doncaster Free Press: “It is extremely pleasing as this is our first full year of trading as Stoneacre Ford in Doncaster and to receive the Ford Chairman’s Award recognises the success of the business”

“This prize is only given out once a year and it is quite a prestigious honour for us to achieve this award.”

The national award is the result of research conducted by Ford which looks at how customers feel they we're looked after when they visited a Ford dealership – whether buying a car, or having their vehicle serviced.

Mark Ovenden, chairman and managing director of Ford GB, said: “This award recognises the commitment and outstanding achievement of Stoneacre Ford in 2012.

“The focus and ability to deliver excellence in customer satisfaction performance, vehicle-sales, finance penetration and parts sales helps to mark both the dealership and Ford out as a market leader, allowing us to jointly maximise revenue and profits.”
