Stoneacre Motor Group has added the Chrysler and Jeep franchise to its Fiat dealership in Peterborough.

The deal brings the number of franchises represented by the 29 site motor group up to 14.

Stoneacre has invested £150,000 to transform the Peterborough to accommodate the Jeep and Chrysler franchises.

Shaun Brookhouse, Stoneacre's regional manager responsible for the two new car franchises, said the addition of the two brands should further strengthen the line-up of cars offered by the group.

He said: “The addition of Jeep also enables us to further expand in to a lucrative premium market and we look forward to a long and successful relationship.”

The addition of the two new car franchises is the first since the group's 2012 acquisition of John Drake Volvo in Lincoln and John Morris Motors Volvo in Grimsby which added the first premium brand to the group’s line-up.
