The Swansway Group has won the South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Employer of the Year Award for the second consecutive year.

The award backed by Manchester Metropolitan University recognises employers whose initiatives give their workforce support in their chosen career path as well as keeping the whole team motivated and engaged.

Director David Smyth (pictured, right) said: “To win this award last year was amazing, but to win twice in a row is a real validation of the way we run our business. As a family owned and run business we see our employees as an extension of our family, we try to nurture talent and promote from within; we genuinely want to be a great place to work.”

Swansway’s family atmosphere and happy workforce has seen the North West based business rise up the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For List for four consecutive years, currently sitting at number 32.

“For us the family feel is everything because happy staff leads to genuinely happy customers. The Swansway Family Fun Day has become a real highlight of the year, my three kids love it and so do everyone else’s,” David said.
