Service plan provider EMaC has partnered up with automotive digital software specialists GForces to collaborate on integrating technologies.

A key part of this partnership will be to integrate EMaC’s service plan provision and associated data with GForces’ proprietary web platform, NetDirector Auto V10.

Core projects will be focussed on developing software to enable dealers to market and offer service plans via their websites as well as providing the back-end tools to enable them to manage these more effectively.

The enhancement of GForces’ NetDirector service plans widget will aim to provide richer pricing data and a tool through which retailers will be able to market and sell plans direct to consumers via the web, as well as in showroom.

Aftersales functions will be developed to improve dealers’ on-going servicing offerings to both new and existing customers.

Angela Barrow at EMaC (pictured) said: “EMaC and GForces working together is a very exciting prospect as it brings together two leading companies in their respective fields.

“This relationship will enable us to leverage both ours and GForces’ market insight to deliver digital servicing products which will not only better serve our dealer clients but also their service plan customers.”

Group strategy director at GForces Tim Smith said: “Encouraging a digitally-led approach to aftersales has been a core part of our agenda in recent years – especially with the key measure of performance in this area, overhead absorption, remaining well below the 80% industry benchmark. This partnership will mean that together GForces and EMaC can deliver even more capable technology that aids dealers in improving both their customer retention and aftersales performance.”
