Jeep is offering UK customers two free return flights to New York when they buy a Grand Cherokee over the next two weeks in March.

The offer is part of a deal between Jeep and airline Virgin Atlantic during the important March plate-change. Jeep is hoping the offer will tempt customers into its UK dealerships.

In addition to the free flights offer, new Jeep Grand Cherokee customers will also benefit from three years’ finance at 0% APR, three years’ free servicing, three years’ warranty, and three years’ roadside assistance.

The new Jeep Grand Cherokee range starts at £37,695 (OTR) for the 3.0 V6 CRD Laredo, rising to £50,295 (OTR) for the 3.0 V6 CRD Summit.

Fiat Group in the UK is hoping it can improve Jeep sales in the UK with a renewed product line up in the Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, new diesel engines, as well as a small SUV model called the Renegade which was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show this month.

The Chrysler Jeep franchise was brought back from the brink last year after Fiat Group considered axing both brands in the UK when it received termination notices from nearly 35% (20 out of 58) of its dealers.
