Honda (UK) has appointed Rob English as the new manager – corporate operations, effective 17 March 2014.
He fills the seat that Lee Wheeler recently vacated and will head up the corporate sales division responsible for Honda’s fleet sales, leasing and rental operations.
He will be joining Honda after 8 months as an account director at Return On Investment (ROI).
Leon Brannan, head of cars, Honda (UK), said; “Rob is a very welcome addition to our team and we are looking forward to him getting stuck in and taking on our fleet challenge, especially as we enter a new exciting era for our brand, both in terms of diesel engine technology and new additions to our line-up.”
English is no stranger to automotive corporate sales having spent much of his career within the Volkswagen Group, with a variety of roles; including corporate sales for Audi and heading up Skoda’s fleet sales team.
As editor, Tim is responsible for the media content, planning and production of AM's multiple channels (AM print and digital magazines, website, social media and contributing to our events planning). He interviews and writes about as many franchised dealer groups and UK divisions of motor manufacturers as possible, to explore the issues facing UK motor retail and understand what solutions dealers and suppliers are using to overcome these.
