Volkswagen has revealed the first images of its new close to production Beetle Dune which is expected to go on sale in the UK towards the end of 2015.
The Beetle Dune has a raised body by 50mm compared with the standard Beetle and the concept is fitted with 19-inch wheels and large tyres.
The Beetle Dune production version will likely be powered by the same line-up of engines offered in the current Beetle.
The production version is expected to be offered in coupe and convertible body-styles.
