MG and dealer group JCT600 have announced separate fleet deals this week.

The fleet division of Yorkshire-based JCT600 has secured a contract to supply 12 Maserati Ghibli models to AMT Group, specialists in prestige and executive vehicle rental.

JCT600 was chosen as the sole supplier of Maserati vehicles to AMT Vehicle Rental in Leeds and has delivered all 12 vehicles in what is believed to be one of the biggest fleet deals ever for the performance car brand.

The models delivered to AMT Group so far are the recently introduced Maserati Ghibli 3.0 V6 petrol and  3.0 V6 diesel variants.

“The Maserati models form part of our luxury rental fleet for corporate and private clients who want to travel in style wherever they are in the UK,” said Craig Moran, general manager for the AMT's contract hire and leasing division.

JCT600’s fleet division comprises prestige fleet operations representing BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Audi; and volume fleet division consisting of Vauxhall, Kia, Mazda, Peugeot, Seat and Chevrolet.

In a separate deal MG has announced it has supplied SMA Vehicle Remarketing with an "initial" order of 20 diesel MG6 GTs.

Bob Anderson, managing director of SMA Vehicle Remarketing, said: "In assessing our options for our fleet, we had a number of attractive options available.

"However, the MG proposition with its distinctive and historic brand is something we knew would create an immediate level of interest with our customers as our field team visited them. SMA is a company with a rich and proud heritage, which is on a strong upward growth trajectory; the MG brand is in a similar position with significant growth in its dealer network."

> Dealer groups Seward and Central Garages have taken on the MG franchise this week, putting the brand's total network at over 50. It is on track to have 80 by the end of 2014
