Dealer and fleet video service AutosOnShow has been acquired by auction and remarketing group BCA.

BCA said the acquisition is a key part of its digital strategy and will broaden its customer proposition and deliver value-added services to the automotive sector.

AutosOnShow has extended its video imagery specialism to develop a portfolio of products and services that span the automotive lifecycle and serve OEMs, major dealer groups and remarketing companies.

AutosOnShow already powers BCA’s Video Appraisal service and has recently launched a new inspection application and an image repurposing service to the retail sector.

AutosOnShow was established in 2010 by Adam and Rachel Price and is based in Cardiff, and has won awards for its solutions including Microsoft Innovation of the Year Award and Retail Week Digital Excellence Award.

AutosOnShow will continue to support and grow its existing customer base whilst leveraging its technology and expertise across BCA’s customers and BCA’s innovation portfolio.

BCA chief executive Jon Olsen said: “We are delighted to welcome AutosOnShow into the BCA Group and look forward to working together to deliver ground-breaking digital solutions to the automotive sector.

"AutosOnShow is a natural fit within BCA’s broad suite of remarketing services and gives us scope to further enhance the range of digital services we offer our customer base.”

AutosOnShow MD Adam Price said: "Our strength as our company is our dedication to technical innovation and by joining the BCA family it means our technical abilities are now combined with BCA's global scale and commercial operations.  It is a powerful and compelling synergy.”
