Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has appointed Trevor Hodgson-Phillips (pictured) as its new head of service and parts.

Hodgson-Phillips will report directly to director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Carl zu Dohna, and will be responsible for driving the brand’s aftersales activities in the UK.

Hodgson-Phillips joined the Volkswagen Group in 2000 and has since progressed through the organisation.

Brand director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK, Carl zu Dohna, said: “I am delighted to be welcoming Hodgson-Phillips into the brand. He brings with him extensive experience within the Volkswagen Group and he will be a great asset to the Service and Parts team.

“Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles celebrated record sales in 2014 and the brand has now cemented its position as the number two light commercial vehicle manufacturer in the UK – this is an exciting time for Hodgson-Phillips to join the business.”

Hodgson-Phillips succeeds Kevin Rendell, who assumes the position of head of customer quality and network development for Volkswagen Passenger Cars.
