Mitsubishi Motors is set to debut the all-new 5th generation L200 at the Geneva Motor Show, next month.

Nine years and 1.3million unit sales on, Mitsubishi has revamped the model with a refreshed look and an all-new 2.4-litre MIVEC turbo-charged diesel engine, which is mated to an all-new six-speed manual transmission.

The new exterior design contributes to lower aerodynamics, aiming for improved fuel efficiency. Plus, enlarged body mounts and extended rear suspension, which promise a smoother, vibration-reduced ride.

Standard features include HID headlamps (with integrated LED daytime running lights and Bi-Xenon projectors), rear doors are added for added covenience, keyless operation system with engine stop/start switch, cruise Control w/adaptive speed limiter, dual temperature automatic air conditioning, steering column-mounted paddle shifters, reach and rake adjustment of the steering wheel, rear view camera and digital audio broadcasting radio system.

Plus, safety technology such as; active stability and traction control with trailer stability assist and hill start assist systems, and lane departure warning.

The all-new L200 will be launched in Europe during the summer.
