Motor Codes has launched its Garage of the Year 2015 competition and is encouraging consumers to rate their garage.

Open to all Motor Codes subscribing workshops, Garage of the Year 2015 runs until May 31. Online reviews left for subscribers will help to determine the 11 regional winners in franchised dealer and independent categories, then a panel of judges will select the national winner and runner-up.

Motor Codes managing director Mark Terry said: “This competition highlights the best garages across the regions. It’s a real opportunity for local garages to showcase their excellent workmanship and first class customer service.

“The quality and customer service coming out of the motor industry has improved considerably over the years and it’s wonderful to empower the general public in recognising the best in the business.’
More than 7,500 main dealer and independent garages are members of the national Motor Codes scheme which was set up by the UK motor industry on behalf of the government.

Terry said: “By leaving online reviews for garages across the UK network, customers are helping to signpost the very best services in their local area and in turn this drives up standards across the industry.”
