The launch of a Renault Range Roadshow this summer is hoped to bring the brand’s cars and technology to the attention of hundreds of consumers.

And those consumers attending the weekend events can choose to drive the new Megane on a track.

The public can register online to attend. Renault sees it as an ideal opportunity to demonstrate technologies such as the 4Control all-wheel steering system offered in the new Megane, and other driver assistance systems in its Kadjar, Captur, Clio, and Twingo models.

Attendees can also try its Zoe electric car, and drive a slalom course in its Twizy electric quadricycle.

The events will have a family focus too, with go-karts for children aged 4-11 years, driving lessons for those aged 11-17, cupcake icing activities and a treasure hunt. Attendees can also book a passenger ride with a professional driving in a Renault Sport Clio Cup race car.

Nick Tame, Groupe Renault UK sales director, said: “Taking place only days after the UK launch of the All-New Renault Mégane, the Renault Range Roadshow present drivers with the opportunity to be amongst the first to fully experience the car’s dynamism and the features that its arrival has brought to the compact family car segment for the very first time, many of which are usually reserved for more expensive and bigger vehicles.

"Together with the availability of the rest of the Renault passenger car range for on- and off-track test drives, an array of family-focused activities and all the action taking place at fantastic venues, the Renault Range Roadshow will be unmissable for anyone who is considering a new car.”

Dunsfold Aerodrome, Surrey – 6-7 August
