Vantage Motor Group has appointed Caroline Boothroyd to the newly-created role of group head of people and development.

Boothroyd will help to develop and deliver a sustainable people and development strategy, ensuring that the right infrastructure, HR processes, systems and resources are in place to sustain future business growth.

Previous employment includes Arcadia Group, Asda and more recently Taylor Wimpey, where she was learning and development manager for the UK.

She said: “In my short time with Vantage it’s already clear to me that we have a strong leadership team and a very talented and enthusiastic workforce that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

“To have a business that is so consistently successful and continues to grow is down to its leadership team. On meeting Mark Robinson and the other directors I really engaged with the values and ethos of Vantage and I am excited about helping to shape and deliver the business’ people and development strategy.”

Vantage Motor Group managing director Mark Robinson said: “We are delighted to appoint Caroline as Group Head of People and Development.

“We operate in a fast paced, competitive industry and we want to be the best at what we do. From a people perspective, that means we need to continue to focus on attracting, recruiting and developing the right individuals, with the right skills and capabilities.

“Caroline fully embodies Vantage’s ‘one team’ ethos and I am sure that she will be an asset to the company.”
