Williams Group has acquired Stratstone Jaguar Manchester from Pendragon.

The deal was completed yesterday, when Stratstone Jaguar Manchester, on Upper Brook Street, became known as Williams Jaguar Manchester.

This latest acquisition will bring together the Jaguar and Land Rover brands in the heart of Manchester.

Williams Jaguar Manchester will become the 14th motor retail centre in the group’s portfolio which includes BMW, Mini and motorcycles.

Nick Cook, Williams Group managing director said: “This acquisition is key to strengthening our already substantial presence within the North West.

“Williams Jaguar Manchester will be a valuable asset to our expanding business.

“The Jaguar franchise is a premium player in the market, and given our current relationship with Jaguar Land Rover Limited, will prove a perfect fit for the Williams Group.”

The Williams Group says it will retain the current staff at the Jaguar dealership.

Specialising in BMW, Mini and Land Rover cars as well as BMW motorcycles, the Williams Group already has 13 showrooms across the region, including those in Bolton, Liverpool, Manchester, Rochdale and Stockport.
