Findings from the National Franchised Dealers Association consumer perception survey will be presented to dealers at Automotive Management Live.

Newly appointed NFDA chairman Mark Squires (pictured), former chief executive of Benfield Motor Group, will explore the implications of the survey in the AM Hub at 1pm.

The survey found consumers believe the independent sector offers higher levels of convenience than franchised dealers although motorists who opt for while-you-wait services described a more positive experience at franchised dealerships.

The NFDA will highlight some of the main areas which the survey uncovered and explore ways in which some of the issues can be tackled and service improved in a bid to further enhance the consumer’s perception of the industry.
