Brindley Group has appointed a trio of new recruits to following its relocation to a new £1 million Volvo dealership.

Brindley Wolverhampton retained all existing members of staff in the move to the new facility on West Street, Wolverhampton, and has now added new members in the form of a new sales manager, product specialist and local business specialist.

Kal Plaha kick-started the recruitment drive at Brindley, joining as local business specialist.

Responsible for corporate and fleet sales both large and small, Plaha brings with her five years of Volvo experience to the role.

James Harris joins as a product specialist to guide customers through the buying and ownership experience by providing product knowledge and insights on each Volvo model available.

Following 12 years of service at Brindley Volvo, starting out as a sales consultant, David Gutteridge has been appointed as the dealership’s new general sales manager, meanwhile.

James Elkes, Brindley director, said: “Kal and James are fantastic additions to our already 20-strong team and bring with them a strong mix of experience and a passion for knowledge on all things Volvo.

“Business sales within Brindley is a busy and expanding department at the dealership so Kal is joining at a very exciting time for us, whilst James will support our sales team to continually help deliver excellent service to our customers.”

On Gutteridge’s promotion, Elkes added: “David has spent over a decade working with Brindley and is a real asset to the team. His promotion to general sales manager is a testament to his commitment, dedication and hard work over the years. On behalf of the Group, we’d like to wish him every success with his new position.”
