The success of Sytner Group’s online trade-sales web site has resulted in a donation of £28,583 to the BEN charity.

For the second successive year, the group made a sizeable donation to Ben as a result of a £1 donation from each sale of a car via the “Sytner Electronic Auction” site.

The UK’s independent charity dedicated to supporting those who work or have worked in the automotive industry has now benefited from donations of £56,304 from Sytner over the past two years.

Matt Wigginton, head of partnership development for Ben, said: “We are very grateful to Sytner Group for our strong and on-going partnership.

“Sytner has always been a loyal and generous supporter of Ben and donations such as this, aligned to the success of its business, enable us to provide free, confidential support to people working in the automotive industry and their families when they need it the most.”

Darren Edwards, chief executive of Sytner Group added: “Ben is a fantastic organisation which assists many individuals who have found themselves in need of help, be it expert mental, physical, financial or social help.

“We very much appreciate the comprehensive support they offer and are delighted to offer Matt and his team our on-going commitment”.
