Peter Vardy Group has opened a new Mini showroom in Edinburgh – complete with a new café and accessories shop.

The new showroom, which occupies an area of 505sq-m, with a 505sq-m workshop and parts unit and mezzanine office accommodation of 200sq-m, has been created on the site of the group’s former Citroen dealership on Seafield Road.

Guy Watson, the dealership’s managing partner, said: “There is an enormous public following for the Mini brand in Edinburgh and our new showroom is going down exceptionally well with everyone who visits.

“To mark our opening, we are offering hundreds of new Minis at exceptionally competitive prices and we are already seeing people from all over Scotland and beyond deciding to pay us a visit.”

Vardy opened as what was described in a statement as “a shrine to all things Mini” at the start of this month.

Peter Vardy, group chief executive, said: “Mini is an iconic brand and with a range of models to suit most tastes we are confident that our new showroom will become a firm favourite with Edinburgh’s motor buying public.”
