Chippenham Motor Company has acquired the MRG Chippenham dealership in Wiltshire.
The site on Bath Road is the company’s first Subaru, Isuzu, and Volvo aftersales showroom.
The new site increases the company’s presence in the town to three sites, with the expectation that its turnover will increase by £5million to £35m.
The deal sees Subaru, Isuzu, and Volvo aftersales join Citroen, Ford, Kia, Peugeot and Seat in Chippenham Motor Company’s portfolio.
The acquisition will retain the MRG name, having built upon a Volvo heritage of more than 30 years in the North Wiltshire area.
Chippenham Motor Company Group managing director Adam Bailey said: “I believe there is a great fit between MRG into the Chippenham Motor Company as we have both enjoyed an exciting period of growth, built upon delivering great customer service”
Chippenham Motor Company now employs 85 people across its three sites at Bumpers Farm Industrial Estate, London Road and Methuen Park Chippenham.
