Exchange and Mart has launched a new dealer website build service offering the creation of a mobile responsive design to allow consumers the ability to search anywhere, any time.

The online listing specialist aims to solve the issue of websites that are compromised on certain devices and anitcipate Google’s migration to a mobile-first search index with the launch of the new offering.

Thom Coupar-Evans, Exchange and Mart's commercial director, said: “With over 80% of consumers accessing the internet via their mobile, and mobile searches outperforming desktop searches in most markets, it’s vital for dealers that their website works on mobile devices and tablets as well as desktop.

“Customers on the go want to be able to shop for cars no matter what device they are using, so a one size fits all website just won’t cut it.

“The new Exchange and Mart website solves this problem for dealers by delivering a seamless experience from smartphone to desktop.”

Exchange and Mart’s new product includes professional UK SEO copywriters to create “an engaging online experience”, a statement said.

Websites are built to the latest best practice SEO standards, loading pages and information quickly to keep customers clicking.

Research shows that 71% of consumers use mobile searches to look for a business’s location, which is good news for independent dealers, but only if they come up in searches.

Exchange and Mart websites optimise a dealer’s presence with Google maps to bring them more local leads, as part of the standard web package.

In addition, the new service claims to offer a highly competitive return on investment for pay-per-click advertising, retargeting and social media activity.
