Order books open for the new Citroen C4 Picasso range in June ahead of a September 1 on sale date, with the brand revealing details today.

The MPV range sports a new front end, a two-tone body and roof option and more personalisation possibilities.

New C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso will feature including a hands-free tailgate, a new connectivity offering with Citroen Connect Nav and two new petrol engines: PureTech 130 S&S EAT6 in C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso and PureTech 110 S&S   six-speed manual in the five-seat version.

Connect Nav is a 3D, touch operated and real-time connected navigation system that users can zoom in with two fingers and comes with improved mapping. It informs drivers of speed limits for main roads and motorways and voice recognition is possible for navigation, telephone and media functions. A driver can also access text messages and emails and send messages from the car. Connected services give access to real-time traffic information and TomTom alternative route suggestions, local weather forecasts, display of car parks and service stations with prices and local point of interest searches.
