Moneyway, the motor finance arm of AIM-listed Secure Trust Bank, has appointed Gaynor Atkinson and Lee Fountain as account managers.

Atkinson will operate in the business’ Yorkshire and North East regions and joins from Benfield Corporate Motoring, where she worked as Group Business Development Manager.

In her year with the company she was responsible for delivering fleet solution services on behalf of the Benfield brand.

Atkinson’s previous positions include acting as national sales manager at Revive Auto Innovations, and as new business manager at Northgate Plc.

Fountain, who will work with dealers and generate new business in the South East in his new role, worked as an account development manager at Logbook Loans from 2007, before his promotion to Area Manager in 2013.

Prior to this, Lee acted as Company Director at Fresh Start Loans, and as Senior Underwriter at Re Finance.

The appointments form part of an on-going recruitment drive, with the firm recently increasing its sales team by 20 per cent.

John Simpson, managing director at Moneyway, said: “I am delighted to welcome Gaynor and Lee at a time when we are continuing to expand our offering across the entire risk curve.

“These appointments are testament to the strong growth of Moneyway, and will contribute to our goal of becoming a one-stop shop for motor finance in the UK.”
