A team from Harrogate-based Vantage Motor Group will tackle the Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks challenge for The Prince’s Trust.

The seven strong team, led by Vantage’s managing director Mark Robinson, will attempt the challenge on September 15.

Last year, Vantage became a patron of The Prince’s Trust and Robinson also joined The trust’s regional development committee for Yorkshire and Humber.

The dealership has set a target of £10,000 and will scale 585m of ascent across Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in the Yorkshire Dales, in less than 10 hours.

Robinson said: “I am continually inspired by the work of The Prince’s Trust in helping disadvantaged young people across the country improve their life-chances.

“As a business, we have a responsibility to be part of the communities where we operate.

"I am very proud of each member of the team for volunteering to take part in this tough challenge, where we hope to raise a significant amount of money for this extremely worthwhile cause.”

Together with Robinson, the team is operations director Andrew Mallory, financial director Tim Swindin, aftersales director, Dale Baker, group financial controller James McGlashan, Toyota Tamworth sales manager Mark Spindley and Honda Barnsley assistant accountant Adele Bryant.
