Online tyre retailer Blackcircles.com will launch a service offering in October this year.

Managing director Mike Welch said the move would be revolutionary and include bespoke pricing.

In preparation for the move, Blackcircles.com will expand its network of independent garages by 30% by the end of the year.
Currently with 1,200 independent garages in its network, another 400 sites will benefit from additional revenue, customer footfall and national marketing, helping them to compete with major high street brands, said the company.

The south east and north west are prime regions for new garages to meet demand. Blackcircles.com has recently appointed Alan Littlewood, formerly director of aftersales at Pendragon, as head of network.

Littlewood is working with the team at Blackcircles.com and Unipart, which audits new signings to the network, to drive recruitment.

Blackcircles.com will also relaunch its website later this year.
The business’s turnover in 2008 was £11 million – in 2009, it is predicted to be £15 million.
