How did you get into the automotive business?

My first job in the industry was as an apprentice mechanic in a British Leyland garage.

What does your job entail?

Developing Forester Grant Associates by creating new products and programmes that help dealers and manufacturers make more profit.

How do you think your job will change over the next few years?

We will need to learn from how other industries operate in order to help us find new and more efficient ways of working within the motor industry.

Other jobs?

I owned a bar and had the first mini skip business in Spain back in the ’80s.

What advice would you give to young people joining the industry?

Work to learn and to understand people.

What’s the worst career move you’ve ever made?

I tried lorry driving. It was very hard work.

And the best?

Working for Forester Grant Associates.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?

I’d like to be helping others develop both themselves and their businesses.

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

Thailand.
