Computer users warned about discarded hard drives

Dealers and all business computer users have been warned to wipe clean discarded hard drives after a PC with up to a million bank customers’ personal data was sold on eBay for a reported £35.

Motor finance lenders Royal Bank of Scot-land (RBS) and subsidiary Natwest say information relating to credit card applications for their bank and others were involved.
