Newly-opened Newcastle dealer Alexandra Cars has taken on a Daihatsu franchise.

The family-owned showroom, which already sells Subaru and Isuzu, employs 10 staff and will stock new and used Daihatsu products.

David Lewins, dealer principal, said: “Motor trading has never been so volatile, but as a new franchise of a company synonymous with producing cost-effective, durable, reliable and fun vehicles, we are well placed to create a dedicated following, and at the same time attract new business.”
