A new loyalty card scheme where customers spend money to earn privileges is to be launched by Fiat dealers.

The card forms part of the existing My Fiat initiative and is supplied by North Wales based Loyalty Logistix.

It already runs similar programmes for several dealers in the UK including the Ringways and Hendy groups.

The myFiat scheme will be split into three sections, all of which are accessed via the www.fiat.co.uk website. It’s already been redesigned to reflect the changes, with the first customer cards being issued in the coming weeks.

The entire network is expected to take part.

The two main elements are myAccount, where the customer builds a profile so offers can be tailored to them, and myRewards, which allows them to earn points towards future discounts.

Full details have yet to announced, but they are expected to be redeemable on new vehicles, servicing or merchandise.

The third element is myCar, which provides information on the customer’s vehicle and helps them set alerts for key dates such as a service.

Company insiders say logging on to the website will allow scheme members to select their home dealer.

They can then access specific offers created individually by that dealer based on what they believe will work for their customers.
