Nissan dealers in the UK will finally get a replacement for the Micra this year and the Japanese manufacturer has shown off the first images.
Carlos Ghosn, Nissan chief executive officer, unveiled the new Micra at the Geneva Motor Show today and said the new model would come with a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine including supercharged and direct injection versions with emissions of 95g/km to be added to the line up later.
Both engine options in Europe are available with either a five-speed manual gearbox or Nissan’s new automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT).
UK sales are expected to start in the autumn this year.
