Marshall to shut Peugeot business

Marshall Motor Group is closing a Peugeot showroom in Cambridgeshire.

The dealer group will close the outlet in Huntingdon at the end of the month.

It told the Hunts Post that the site would require major investment to bring it up to franchise standards so it would be closed and sold and the funds redeployed elsewhere within the group.

The decision follows a widescale review, but no other closures are planned.

Marshall has Peugeot dealerships at St Neots, Peterborough, Cambridge, Bedford and Kempston, and the group expects most staff from Huntingdon to be redeployed.
