Evans Halshaw Peugeot Darlington has closed its doors.

Peugeot said the closure was a mutual agreement between itself and Pendragon, which owned the showroom.

The French carmaker said it expected the open point to be filled by the end of the year.

Customers are being advised by Evans Halshaw to take cars to its sister company site in Darlington.
