Portfolio, the supplier of showroom and online used car marketing services, has formed a strategic relationship with Google.

It has become an authorised reseller of Google AdWord, which helps dealers to find new customers by presenting relevant adverts to prospective buyers seeking specific vehicle models or dealer services.

John Simpson, managing director of Portfolio, part of Manheim Group, said: “These are tough trading times that require dealers to spend every pound wisely."

Your comments:
Maybe Portfolio should consider reducing their charge to dealers for passing used car stock to secondary websites. This would help their dealer base gain more exposure. There charges currently sit at £10 per week to send out a feed, this is twice whta AutoTrader charge.
