Prestige bodyshop network broadens into mainstream brands

Vizion, the prestige car accident repair network, has broadened its offering with a mainstream vehicle repair service.

It has formed a network of 90 bodyshops with PAS125 accreditation which will work to an agreed standard and with the same internal process control, using AutoFlow as a common operating platform.

It said this is in response to insurers and other clients demands for a more complete repair solution.

Eamonn Dunne, chairman of Vizion, said: “Building a mainstream network was relatively easy, nothing like creating our prestige network, which brings together 16 distinct prestige vehicle manufacturer approvals into one unique offering.

"Prestige vehicle body repair remains our core competence and this new addition will allow us to offer a wider solution to our clients."

No PAS 125

However Vizion’s prestige vehicle body repair members no longer require PAS 125 accreditation.

Instead, prestige vehicle manufacturer approval and AutoFlow will remain key requirements of membership, and while Vizion still encourages PAS 125, the emphasis will be on vehicle damage assessor (VDA) accreditation for prestige vehicle manufacturer approved sites.
