Seat's most powerful Leon on sale now

Seat has produced its most powerful Leon in its 25 year history and it is on sale in the UK now.Seat Leon Cupra R

The new Cupra R comes with a 263bhp 2.0-litre which takes the car from 0-62mp in 6.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 155mph.

Seat claims customers can get 34.9mpg from the new model and carbon dioxide emissions are at 190g/km.

A six-speed manual gearbox comes as standard and it’s been modified to include a shorter ‘throw’ to help achieve faster gear changes.

Exterior additions to the new model include a twin central exit exhaust within a customised rear diffuser, extended high level rear spoiler, 19-inch ‘Potenza’ wheels, available in traditional silver alloy or contemporary white finish , ‘R’ badging and gloss black highlighting inside and out.

Interior specification includes ebony black front seatbacks and ‘R’ logos incorporated on the.

UK pricing for the new Leon Cupra R is confirmed at £25,205, production is limited to around 500 in a full year, and the first customer cars are due to be delivered within weeks.
