Honda Motor Europe has entered into a new rolling partnership agreement with Castrol as its sole recommended lubricants supplier.

The deal will see the two companies build on the existing three year partnership and work even closer together on aftersales growth.

The strategic cooperation will see Honda workshops use Castrol EDGE Professional H product range of oils which have been engineered to meet the requirements of Honda engines.

Cristiano Romagnoli, Castrol’s key account manager for Europe, said: “Our strategic partnership with Honda has gone from strength to strength and I am excited to keep working in a direction which helps to grow our business further.”

The new agreement will bring considerable benefits to both parties and focus on one new common objective: to provide value-added services and aftersales growth.

A statement issued about the renewed agreement said that Honda was in talks with Castrol to introduce several initiatives tailored uniquely for the car manufacturer to enable Honda to maximise revenue opportunities in workshops.

Hiroyasu Kayano, honda Global account director at Castrol, said: “Our relationship with Honda has been in existence for many years and this extension symbolises our commitment to working together to further grow what we have already accomplished.”
