Motor Retail Accountant required to report to the Head of Automotive. You will interface with clients to monitor,ensure quality control and analyse monthly data and reports from dealerships. To ensure timely and accurate data submission to assist with performance and profitability improvement in their networks. This position will suit an individual with excellent financial acumen and a minimum of 3 years experience in a financial role within the automotive dealership network sector. Commercially focused and able to identify and clearly communicate actions to improve dealer timeliness, accuracy and performance The ability to read, understand and analyse financial information, with an attention to detail. You will have a detailed knowledge of a typical dealer operational structure and manufacturer’s dealer network and its related franchise operations; this could be passenger car or commercial vehicles. Experienced in both performance and risk management with the ability to work with a dealer to achieve improvements. Familiarity with dealer management accounting is preferred. Confident with a professional manner, with the ability to challenge in a diplomatic manner. Team player with an ability to communicate at all levels. This position is primarily office based, although some national travel will be required (this can vary throughout the year from rarely to frequently) Salary: 30k pa - 35k pa
